Fabulous forest schools session

Image
Wow, what a session!  The leopards excelled themselves this afternoon. After learning the tool talk for using a sheath knife the leopards had a go at whittling various things, including lizards, arrows for their bows and sticks to roast marshmallows. I was incredibly impressed with their motivation and can do attitude.  Later, we decided to make a fire so the children collected and sorted the wood and used the flint and steel to light the fire. Many children successfully managed to make sparks but it was Maya who managed to light the fire after a great deal of teamwork and perseverance. Well done team leopards! Mysterious goings on

Giraffes were surprised to receive an unexpected email   from America  today followed by a mysterious parcel. It was from a Professor Templeton, who asked if we could help him by hiding the prototype of his latest invention from a saboteur. How exciting!  Unfortunately, the prototype was missing from the package, so it is our job to find out who has stolen it. Wish us luck!
