Feel fantastic Friday 3rd April

Good morning lovely giraffes! Hope you are all OK and staying safe. Thank you for all the pictures and work I got in yesterday, was fab to see some amazing team work.
I will be dropping a document in to your Google Drive folders today with some ideas for activities you can do over the Easter holidays. Some are Art things, some English, some Maths etc. I would love to see pictures of your finished items. 

 So today’s question is this- what are you most looking forward to doing when lockdown is over?

 Mine is seeing my family again and of course getting to see my amazing giraffes.

      All good here thanks Freya. Marmy and Willow are loving all the extra cuddles, might have to bring them to school with me when we go back as they have got so used to me being here all the time! Taddington is being good and keeping up with his work. He may have some more pictures for you in a couple of days, so keep an eye out.

    Hi Miss B, that giraffe was so cute! When lockdown is over I am exited to seeing you and the others! Did you get that video I sent you of my rainbow? Today, for my Art lesson, I made a beach scene out of wood,paint,shells and rocks. Hopefully I can send you a picture of it. Bye, miss you and hope to see you soon!

Here we go !  We arrived safely and met our course leader, Ben, who will be with us for the 3 days.  The first activity was orienteering, which was a good chance to explore the grounds while looking  for the markers.  We were all hungry and ready for lunch after all that running around.

We were excited to see our t ents. Luckily, they are spacious (room for six) as some of us have brought a lot of luggage!  It was quite hot inside. After some time to unpack, there was time to relax, play and explore the sports hall, games room and the adjoining field - perfect for a game of football!  After all that activity,  we were ready for tea -   a lovely roast.  Our evening activity was another opportunity to use our map reading skills -  a walk in the evening sunshine.  There were lots of cows in adjoining fields,  which were thoroughly analysed by our knowledgeable farmers!  When we got back we had hot chocolate and it was time for bed.
