Morning lovelies, hope everyone is ok. 

Well done to those of you that sent me pictures of what you have been up to and a special mention to Aidan and Dylan's mum preparing lots of Maths with chocolate- that is always going to help you understand it! 

Today I will be on TT Rockstars at 10am again and hope to see some of you there. 

Let me know how you get on with the topic work, I will be really interested to see what you think is essential to survive on a desert island. 

For now I thought I would share this cute picture of Willow who was desperately trying to get me to share my ice cream with her last night.

    Hi Mrs B how are you ? You know that letter you sent you said we can tell you anything . Well my grandma died last week and I am very upset . I've been spending lots off time with my family and it looks like your having lots off fun at home . Bye for now .

Welcome to Whitehall

 After arriving at the centre, we dropped off the bags and the bus drove us down to the reservoir. Using our map reading skills we had a lovely walk back to Whitehall. Enjoying a welcome snack break, we listened and watched out for curlews, skylarks, blackbirds, buzzards and crickets.  We spotted many wild flowers too.

Adventurous activity 1: Let's try abseiling

For our first activity, we headed back towards Taddington and the Monsal Trail at Millers Dale - familiar territory for us. We exchanged tales of walking, cycling and pony rides down the trail.  None of us have abseiled before, so we're not quite sure what to expect. We listened carefully before getting our harnesses on.  The instructor checked we were all safely buckled up and ready to go. Hmm...some slightly worried looks.  Here we go. Who's brave enough to go first? The bridge over the River Wye is 80 feet high and the first challenge is to climb over the railings.  We did it!  Now we can relax.
