Monday 1st June

Good morning and happy new half term. 
Hope you all had a great week last week and enjoyed the amazing weather we have been having. 

Now we are back to learning and I have dropped this weeks learning plans in your folders, although I will need to add to them later today so don’t worry that they are not totally finished. 

The deadline for your TT Rockstars Guinness World Record Attempt is fast approaching so keep practising and trying to beat your times. 

I am unable to be on TT Rockstars at 10am today but hopefully should be able to join you the rest of the week, would love to hear from those of you who make it on. 

Keep sending me your pictures and messages, I love hearing from you all.

    Heyyyy everyone, on last Sunday I played some Minecraft and it was in survival and I managed to build such a good house, I'm impressed with it. I'm a PROO at Minecraft survival and creative. Ya'll should see my Five houses in creative. :3

Team swing

 Having spent the morning underground, we avoided the worst of the weather and most of the group were reasonably dry as we headed back to the centre.  After lunch we were lucky that the rain wasn't too heavy and we go t kitted out for the team swing. We had seen this in action yesterday, so we had a good idea what to expect.  Some of us were excited by this; others, not so much! Teamwork We needed the trolley to get the 2 people into position. Everyone had to pull the rope to hoist up the swing.  We were really good at this, so we had time for 2 goes each.  After 2 goes, out came the trolley again to swap over to the next pair. Here we are before and during our swing. Zooming in on the action... I think you could say there was a mixed reaction! Everyone pushed themselves to their limit ... and then a bit more.  A great activity.

Night walk

After tea, we finished making our beds and got ready for our final activity: the night walk.  We had a stop near Dethick Church. Finding out about the history of this ancient building.  Spotting wild flowers. Which way do we need to go?  Weve done it! One action- packed day complete.  We've walked 17000 steps today. Hopefully, this means we will all sleep well tonight...

High ropes

 After lunch we got harnesses and helmets on, ready for the high ropes. Some of the children were really looking forward to this activity; others were not! We were in four teams of four and we had to work together to make sure our climbing team-mate was safe.
