Getting to grips with grammar

Giraffes have been hunting down verbs in The Arrival. We then changed them to the present participle so that we could use them as progressive verbs.

After that, we used them in our writing.

Here we go !  We arrived safely and met our course leader, Ben, who will be with us for the 3 days.  The first activity was orienteering, which was a good chance to explore the grounds while looking  for the markers.  We were all hungry and ready for lunch after all that running around.
