Pond dipping

At Whitehall, on Thursday morning, Mrs Storey led a pond dipping activity.

They caught a wide variety of creatures including dragonfly larvae, juvenile newt, mayfly nymphs and biting midge larva. (We all saw and felt the effects of a lot of the live ones each evening!)
