Let's talk about ...sleep

The school nurse visited today to talk to us about the importance of sleep.

We watched Roman Kemp's sleep experiment to  investigate what happened when he didn’t sleep for 36 hours. We were surprised about the dramatic effects of missing just one nights sleep.

Sleep is very important:

  • To help your body repair
  • Fight off infection
  • Helps you learn
  • Keeps you healthy
  • Helps you control your emotions

WOW! Sleep really is important!

We though about what makes us have good sleep and the importance of  having a good bedtime routine to wind down.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!

We made ‘fortune tellers’ with facts we have learned about sleep.

With our expert knowledge , hopefully we will sleep well tonight!
