Giraffes@taddy

  A suitcase appeared in the classroom today. It was very strange. There was no note, or indication who it might belong to, so it sparked a lot of discussion. We decided to have a look inside...  There were 3 clues. There was a hat and an origami bird. There was also a parcel. We opened it... Inside, there was a family photo. There was a man, a woman and a child. Will they come back to claim their belongings? 

Giraffes have been very busy writing their epic adventure stories , based on The Odyssey. Here they are busy writing and including a wealth of super language features, thinking about the impact of their sentences on the reader. I am looking forward to reading the completed stories.    

  During our computer topic we have been learning how to produce vector drawings. We have been able to recognise that vector drawings consist of layers of objects and that we can edit the order of the layers to create an image. The children have been exploring their own ideas creating their own images.
