Weston Park Museum We had such a wonderful time on our whole school trip to Weston Park Museum today. Weston Park Museum is in a central area of Sheffield giving the children a sense of city life. The infants started their day with a workshop whilst the juniors looked around the museum. After a wonderful morning, it was time for lunch. We all joined together to enjoy this in the beautiful Weston Park just outside the museum.  After lunch, the juniors had their Ancient Egypt workshop.

Real-life Maths planning a holiday. Part 2: Australia and Rome

Image
Year 6 have been busy planning the trip of a lifetime. Having chosen their dream destination, they have researched travel options, places to stay, what to eat and activities. They have costed everything out, making choices about best value and their budget. Their finished trips, which they have produced as a slideshow,  look very exciting. Maybe they will get to fulfil these dream trips one day... Australia -here I come! Jetting off to Rome. (The video is too big, so here are the slides.) Well done Y6s. Your trips look amazing!
