Good morning my lovelies, hope everyone had a lovely weekend and is ready for another week of home learning.
 
I have dropped your learning plans in your files this morning so they are ready and waiting for you.
 
Look out for Beth, Natalie and Indigo taking over the blog again this week and who knows we may have a little furry visitor if we are lucky.

    Hey guys, soo there is only one month till my birthday I cant wait. Last-night my mum orded a steak pie for my brother and a Ham pizza for me. We also watched the new Jurssic world Fallen Kingdom some parts are sad for me cause I don't like how the most dangerous Dinosour gets slane and I-I-I didn't like it. ( I started to cry ) bc I care about any animals ( except foe spiders and flys. ) There's this video of a dogs owner who was really sick so his or hers dog checked heart beat and did the washing shopping answered the phone turned of lights when the ower went to bed. I really love that dog. Soo SL

Welcome to Whitehall

 After arriving at the centre, we dropped off the bags and the bus drove us down to the reservoir. Using our map reading skills we had a lovely walk back to Whitehall. Enjoying a welcome snack break, we listened and watched out for curlews, skylarks, blackbirds, buzzards and crickets.  We spotted many wild flowers too.

Adventurous activity 1: Let's try abseiling

For our first activity, we headed back towards Taddington and the Monsal Trail at Millers Dale - familiar territory for us. We exchanged tales of walking, cycling and pony rides down the trail.  None of us have abseiled before, so we're not quite sure what to expect. We listened carefully before getting our harnesses on.  The instructor checked we were all safely buckled up and ready to go. Hmm...some slightly worried looks.  Here we go. Who's brave enough to go first? The bridge over the River Wye is 80 feet high and the first challenge is to climb over the railings.  We did it!  Now we can relax.
